Home rennovations

After living in our home for 6 months, we are so excited to start doing renovations. The previous owners had a very different style from ours, so we have several projects that we would like to tackle over the next several years. Fortunately the house doesn't need a ton of work and the layout is perfect. The navy paint, navy carpets, boring walls, and brass fixtures are not, however, our preference. Our poor yard didn't get enough TLC from the previous owners and was starving for some good fertilizer and grass. Last weekend Jarrett played yard boy and mowed, tilled, aerated, fertilized and built up sick areas of the lawn. We both sprinkled seed and spread a total of 5 barrels of hay over the front yard alone. We couldn't believe how hungry it was! In the process of all our labor, we managed to meet more neighbors in one weekend than in the entire 6 months we've lived there. Everyone was so kind! Next on the agenda is purchasing paint for our color craving walls. I didn't realize how much I would love being a home owner!!
