I love London!

Our first day in London was absolutely amazing!! We arrived at 6:00 am London time and took the shuttle to our hotel, the Rydges Kensington Plaza, where two cozy beds awaited us! After snoozing for a couple of hours to adjust to the jet lag, we headed out to the streets of London to enjoy a beautiful day. Our first stop was a quaint sidewalk cafe, where we enjoyed people watching and coming up with a loose game plan for the day. I love traveling with my mom, because there's a certain element of sponaneity that allows us to truly absorb the culture and happen upon things for ourselves. While strolling through Leicester Square, we stumbled into St. Martin-in-the-Fields, where Warren Mailley-Smith, a world renowned pianist was rehearsing for an evening performance of "Rhapsody in Blue." After sightseeing in Trafalgar Square, we made our way to an authentic restaurant and ordered Fish and Chips, a London favorite. The cherry on top of this spectactular day was seeing the musical "Wicked!" What an enchanting, magical production!!! I'm in love with London already, captivated by the quirky expressions like "Mind the Gap" and "Way Out." Stay tuned for more adventures!
