Congratulations to Shannon and Lance Townsend, a beautiful couple that tied the knot June 6, 2009 in Charlotte, North Carolina. I have had the priveledge of knowing this sweet couple for two years. Shannon and I met each other in school and became fast friends, neighbors, study buddies, and partners in crime. Somewhere in the process, Shannon became a lifelong friend who has enriched my life with her sweet personality, solid advice, entertaining stories, blond moments, and invaluable friendship.I am so happy that Shannon found the man of her dreams. Lance is truly an amazing, intelligent, Christian man who will love Shannon unconditionally. He had all of us in tears the morning of the wedding, when his gift to Shannon arrived in the form of a book of 80 poems that Lance had written for his bride. The whole day was magical, the fairy tale wedding that Shannon has dreamed of since she was a little girl. Shannon was truly the most beautiful bride in the whole world.
