Ghouls, Gobblins, and Ghosts- Oh My!

HapPy HaLLoWeEn!!! As always, another fun year of tricks and treats!

Treats!
  • Hearing all about Kaitlyn and Austin's Halloween adventures. Kaitlyn dressed up as a cowgirl- she reminds me of a little version of Reese Witherspoon! Austin dressed up as a construction worker and looked mighty handsome and grown up!! He also had his 3rd birthday party this weekend with a Buzz Lightyear Theme!!

  • Seeing my twin nieces dressed up as fairy ballerinas. They were so precious with their layers of jewelry, face paint, and whimsical wings. Their excitement was contagious and they truly embraced the festive spirit!

Tricks!

  • We got over a hundred trick-or-treaters! Of course this is really a treat, but the trick was that we ran out of candy! I had absolutely no idea that our new neighborhood would be swamped in little kids, costumed in both their prettiest and their scariest! After flying through our first three bags of Milky Way, Snickers, and 3 Musketeers, Jarrett had to dash out for four additional bags!! I bet there are quite a few hyper little kiddos out there today!
  • After we ran out of our seventh bag of candy, we cut the lights and headed over to "The Garage of Ghouls!" My best friends created an amazing haunted house that was actually really, really scary!! As you creeped your way through the misty cool darkness (shoulders hunched and face buried in fear), the sounds of chains, grabbing of ankles, and scary visions were enough to leave you utterly spooked. Seriously, this.was.freaky!

This year's tricks and treats were quite impressive!!
