After 3 blissful weeks of vacation, I finally took a deep breath and went back to work today!! After much anticipation and time spent pondering what my new routine will entail, I went in today 80% excited and 20% nervous. The day was spent mostly in HR as I became oriented to my new stomping grounds. Much to my surprise this orientation was one on one with the HR director! I expected to be in a room of sleepy new-hires, trapped for the majority of the day in a frigid fluorescent room. I believe this bodes well for things to come ;). Several cheesy videos and a hundred signatures later (Miriam Patterson Dineen, hehe), I was out the door and off to meet up with my co-workers. I didn't actually do any work today and really feel like I spent most of the day meeting nice, happy people!! I'm already excited for tomorrow- outfit laid out, lunch packed, and even a brand new pack of fun pens! And thus a new chapter begins....
